digital rendering of a four-dimensional sculpture

The idea of 'sculpture' relies heavily on physicality, three-dimensionality, and an object's existence spatially. Tyson Parks' β€œBranes” is a series of sculptural works that challenges this notion by imagining the idea of sculpture as it might exist via quantum physics. Each β€œbrane” is conceived as a potentially physical sculpture in the real world that could be produced under more transcendental conditions, introducing the element of time as another essential component to the idea of sculpture.
