Hanging Five — Prototypes Installation Proposal
The Hanging Five configuration forms a corridor of suspended light planes. This proposal treats the five screens and an accompanying suspended sculptural layer as a unified spatial field. Four panels present fixed generative configurations from the Prototypes system, while a fifth is dedicated to live instantiation through the existing button interface. Each screen advances through curated configurations at synchronized intervals, with differing sequence lengths across the corridor to establish extended, non-repeating temporal relationships.
Within the Hanging Five corridor, CNC milled lightweight composite sculptures derived from selected system states would be suspended from the existing ceiling grid, occupying the intervals between the LED planes and scaled to match the apparent dimensions of the screen-based forms within the corridor. The result is a layered environment in which illumination slowly reveals fixed form in light while corresponding material volumes occupy the same spatial axis.

Technical & Installation Notes
High-resolution master files are available upon request for direct playback testing on LED hardware.
All digital works are rendered at exact 960 × 960 resolution for the Hanging Five LED configuration and optimized for gallery playback. The fifth panel operates as a live generative instance designed to integrate with NODE’s existing button interface, allowing real-time seed instantiation. In passive mode it participates in the same synchronized loop structure as the other four panels.
The proposed sculptural layer consists of CNC-milled lightweight composite forms derived from selected system outputs. Each sculpture is suspended independently from the existing ceiling rail grid and does not attach to or obstruct LED hardware. Estimated weight per form is minimal and suitable for overhead suspension.
Fabrication can be completed locally using production-ready digital files. Installation is fully reversible and requires no modification to walls, floors, or LED infrastructure.
